Exploring the Estes Method
How did we get from spirit horns to spirit boxes? We’re exploring a brief history of Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC), starting with American Spiritualism, moving through the magnetic tape era, and landing on the Estes Method. Conceived at the Stanley Hotel in 2016 by Connor J. Randall, Karl Pfeiffer, and Michelle Tate, it’s a fascinating paranormal experiment and investigation tool. We’ll discuss how to use it and why we love it, while keeping a grounded perspective. Do you use the Estes Method in your own investigations? Do you use similar or modified versions? Let us know!
Bube's Brewery: Exploring Lancaster County's Local Haunt
In this episode, we take a journey to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to explore the hauntings at Bube’s Brewery, a 19th-century landmark. We’ll descend into the catacombs, the brewery's original lagering cellars, and uncover the legend of Alois Bube. But the fun isn’t contained within the brewery gates. We also venture through Lancaster’s unique local shops, from the curiosities at the Lancaster Troll Market to the historic Lancaster Central Market. We wrapped up the night, in the Malt Baron’s Mansion just across the street, where the atmosphere of the town’s historic district lingers long after the brewery lights go out.
